Q200 Trailering Question
Not true. I have a trailer that caries the Q2 without removing the engine. I have been involved with the moving of 3 Q2s traveling up to 65MPH. Larry Severson 18242 Peters Ct Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Tri-Q landing gear questions
Thanks. I have created an Excel file with 6 different modes for the triQ. I had been all over the place trying to get the exact figures for the gear placement. While I was close, now I can be correct

Tri-Q landing gear questions
Can anyone give me the CG locations for the nose and main gear? How about an actual W&B figure set? It looks like the nose will be 12” and the main gear 35” That means weight in the tail for balance.

CG preferences
For testing limit, nose heavy is always best. It merely means heavier stick forces. Approaching the aft limit is approaching the place where you have almost no control, or no control. Larry Severson 1

Quickie Q2 Revmaster 2100-D
It will be interesting when I get the modifications planned for a 2100D Revmaster (64HP) Tri. It will no longer be a Q. According to X-Plane, the modified plane will climb 1000fpm at 70MPH at 1100lbs.

Runway excursion - canard bent
The LS1 IS a stronger canard, but the fact remains that the wing design with the declining number of spar cap layers as one goes out the canard is not appropriate for a tip gear plane. Larry Severson

Q2 LSA legal?
It would take major modification to comply with light sport rules, but then it wouldn’t be a Q2/Q200. I am actually working on such a design using a 64HP Revmaster engine. X-Plane loves it. Larry Seve
