Report of a Q-200 crash today
This looks bad, however it appears that the cabin is in good shape. I found a news video shot from a news helicopter and it looks like Mike is there standing near the wreckage and pointing out things

So my not-so-gentle nudging seems to have been received by Bruce. I would gladly host, but hey, even our valleys are above 4000’ 😊 Would love to see other places too. Maybe Lynn French is vulnerable t

Good idea, Jerry, I think people would probably balk at airports in my mountainous area….but… My Quickie still knows the way to Enid. That would be an ownership swap of the two events. 😊 Cheers, Jay

TriQ 200 Flight. Look for the “Quickie Smile”! I flew today just to “keep er lubed”!
Hi Bruce, I really like the new look 😉 Seems to be catching on. Let's rename that the Quickie-grinning-whiskers. Kind of like the RV-grin only more distinguished. Cheers, Jay

Vern, You should write a book! If you want an entertaining read, try the book that I am now reading: “Moondog’s Academy of the Air, and Other Disasters” by Pete Fusco. It is a funny take on the seedy

Preliminary analysis of aerodynamics of sparrow strainers (or not)
Hi Micheal, Not back yet, but I will give a short response to clarify.. Corrections for the differences in chord were made external to Javafoil. I explain my procedures in the first of the documents t

Hi Michael, Not much time to fully absorb all the items you bring up, but let me hit a couple. Airfoil dimensions were normalized for my multifoil model representation including with the Eppler main w

Hi Jon, Don’t intend to put myself in a position where I would need to use such a beast…in my Q, anyway, I will stick with 4000’ AGL minimum radius turns, but I’m game if you want… and there is someth

Let me preface this with the statement that the current design of sparrow strainers works. You should not deviate from that design. The following is purely theoretical at this point and is not flight
