Thanks Mike, I have read the Dave Gall report and it seems reasonable. I had also heard about the 6pack conversion and was planning on doing that also. Lot's of work to do first getting the shop ready

I would assume that the Quickie and Q2 would because there is proof that Burt had direct involvement with this plane. As for the Dragonfly, I am not sure. If the Cozy and Velocity are allowed as spin

You know I bet they will all be welcome. Burt had influence on all these designs. More info will certainly come out closer to the event.

Rubber Ring Help
This method has worked for me perfectly for seveal planes and hindreds of hours. You can also just silicone it into the spinner if you wish. Not expensive and works great.

Rubber Ring Help
Maybe try making a silicone ring using a sheet of plastic so it does not bond to the spinner and just the aluminum ring. I like the foam and glass ring that fits tightly around the crush plate and sil

Q2 Project on Barnstormers.com
It is pretty nice. I requested some photo's and it seems like a nice plane. I believe it has the GU canard, thus I had to pass as I would be putting an 0200 on it. But it looks like a very nice plane

Main wing lay up and lights
Thanks Paul, I was thinking exactly about doing the same thing with the conduit. I have the schedule that Sam H. Used to build his new main wing. Sounds like it is the same deal. Thanks for the help.

Main wing lay up and lights
I have no interest in changing the Canard. I was referring to the main wing only. I got the info for the layup on the main wing. Thanks all for the help.

Engine Choice
OK, I hope I am not jumping too far ahead, but I like to get things worked out far in advance. I am considering a few alternative engines for the project. One would be the Jabiru, which I have talked
