Tailwheel Spring
Has anyone upgraded the tailwheel Spring from fiberglass to steel? Trying to prevent another break (done by previous owner).

Rudder Pedal Mount Designs
I'm in the same "boat". My airplane was built for someone taller than I. I wish something was adjustable to accommodate different height pilots. Easy in my 172. The seat slides forward.

Step
Has anyone built a step on the fuselage to help get in a Q2/200? I'm certainly not as limber as I was in my younger years and getting the leg up and swung around to get in is becoming a sight to see.

Paint removal
Hey guys. I need to strip the topcoat off of my Q. The airplane wasn't prepped very well back in the 80s so the topcoat is flaking off. Anyone had to do this before? Glass safe stripper or sand?

Also Sam my damage is on the LE between layers H and I. I read the article of your repair once and probably will be reviewing multiple times this week.

Thanks everyone for responding. I was thinking MAYBE I could inject but it sounds like removing the old glass is the way to go. I'm comfortable with the injection method but the other I may need some

Thanks for the link Jay and input Rick. I assume syringes like the West Marine injection syringes are adequate? I'm looking to get this repaired soon.

Jay, I am away from my airplane for a couple days. I will post a picture when I get home. The spot is about 12 inches from the wing root on the LE.
