< I would think the drag penalty from 4 pipes sticking out in the airstream would be too much to bear! I'd estimate a 20 mph penalty. Which is why most all F1 racers have them? LoL Ryz

The original Varieze had a VW, which like most that try an auto engine, got changed to a Continental. If he’d not done that I doubt it would be the success it is today. RyZ
