Report of a Q-200 crash today
I have a TCM starter (654046), key/solenoid start, would that be what you refer to as a ‘Cessna’ starter? I guess I need to do some research on the different starters and the internals. Thanks, Tim

Hi Mike (Dwyer), Can you offer some suggestions on the MA3SPA, I have to set mine up… I don’t have it to hand but I seem to recall the supplied instructions were a little light. Thanks, Tim

Front Tyre
Interested in what front tyre people are using on the Tri gear. Mine currently has a 10x 3.50 x 4 McReary Airtrac (https://www.lasaero.com/products/article/W006S408F) which is quite square in profile

Thanks Jay. So finally got to a point today where I had elevator control rods ready. It appears if they are fitted either side of the stick tube it creates excessive elevator movement when you roll… I

Some Qs
Hi Rich, I’m pretty sure it is 3/16” , but being at home now I can’t double check. Plans say AN3 I believe. Not yet on to elevator controls proper, still doing aileron bits. Tim

Hi Sam, Hopefully the photo works, I mean the plate welded to the front of the tube. Thanks Bruce and Jay - I’ll have a look out for those plans and do a bit more research. Cheers, Tim

Hi Mike, I needed similar info for other metal parts and ended up buying the appendix for the plans from quickheads. It looks like EM2 is 0.125” in 2024T3, so you have the right spec. Cheers, Tim
