Hey Guys,
"Honey Lamb" and I are flying to Phoenix in Oct. We will land at Deer Valley. There are a couple of choices for parking and fuel as far as my Flight Guide shows. Does anyone know which is the best deal and are the Q and avionics going to be safe? Matt Guensch (sp.) didn't I see your Q in the parking area at Deer Valley? I flew out of Deer Valley when I was in college back it 1996. It was, then, a very safe place as far as Avionics go. At that time, I didn't hear of any theft problems. A friend was recently down in Feb. and had no problems. He stopped at Westwind Aviation (I took training there and rented their aircraft quite often) and though I don't recall the price amount, he said it was pretty fair. Just watch those parallel runways. Some of those pilots on the field like to climb over into the other runways flight path on climb out. Hope this helps a little. Matt's a DF guy on the other list. His email is N329DF@.... His DF is still hangared at Deer Valley. But he works over at Glendale Airport now. Email him direct for hangar space. probably won't be at Copperstate (unless I can sneak out). Our foster daughter and her husband live near Deer Valley so for convenience will stay there.
