[Dragonflylist] Canard Fly-in

One Sky Dog

I am sure it is Sam, although you Q guys have been known to take over
fly-ins. (;-)~) Bonding intake bits and sanding.

Regards,

Charlie

We are having the first annual Gulf Coast Canard Fly-in at Pascagoula
Mississippi KPQL on Feb 27th. I would love to see some Dragonflys there. I
can be reached at Velocityoner@... <Velocityoner%40yahoo.com> for
details. Come hungry as the food is boiled shrimp.

I can confirm that Victor has invited the Q community to his canard fly-in. He called yesterday asking me to pass the word along.

I'll vouch for Victor. He is an avid home-builder and a very experienced pilot. And a lot of fun to be around. He is on temporary assignment piloting a ship in the Gulf of Mexico and looking forward to this event. He was my CFI for sport CFI.

Paul,

Not Mean just reporting facts. If I wasn't so slow in getting mine fixed it
would not be so. I just do not understand why no one shows up anymore out
of the 900+ list-er's. The central US fly-in for one of the most efficient
single engine designs ever and no flying Dragonflies? 1000 miles on 40
gallons of gas.

Well maybe the weather last fall had something to do with it. Come to think
of it there was at least a few minutes I was questioning if I should have
been doing what I was doing nuff'said.

I need to get back to my lower cowl intake work. Compass mounting bracket,
position light mounts, position mount lenses, more filler, more
sanding.......

Happy Holiday

Charlie
