Onan Value

I have a new Onan from the 80's, as provided by Quickie with the prop, exhaust, etc. it's never been run, and looks to be in excellent condition. I'm considering selling it, but can't find any info regarding value.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a fair price? I realize there are other options available for engines these days, and I'm not sure if builders still want to use the Onan. It's hard to bead for fuel economy!

Do you still have the prop? If so, what size & how much are you asking??

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

The basic answer I got on my inquiry regarding Onan value is that the engines are essentially worthless. With no financial motivation to sell it, I've resolved to keep it. I am also keeping the prop to go with it.

I'm restoring a Baby Ace now, and will probably get into the Q1 in a few years. Until then, all the parts are safely stored, waiting their turn.

Did you sell the Onan engine? If not, please reply with your details, price, parts included, etc.

Thanks,

Mike
