Looking for Alternative Canard layup schedules

Sam Hoskins

Does anyone have the layup and construction schedules for the Jim Doyle/ Larry Weishauer canard?

How about the Wadalow canard? I would like to archive them in our Files section of the Q-List.

Thanks.

I probably have them—would have to look back in archive hard drive backups.  Before I started building I made a word document importing all the plans and included Waddlow in the canard chapter.

I will look if nobody comes forward with Waddlow mod.

We have both of them and will be happy to send them to you when we get back home from Ohio on Monday.

Generally what is unique about these two modified canards?

  1. They are not canards.
  2. Both have ailerons and individually controlled flaps
  3. Both airfoils are laminar.

The main wing on both the Q2 and the Dragonfly are NOT laminar flow (min drag)

Sam,

Yes, I have the Weishaar-Doyle plans. I’m working on redrawing the drawing because I can’t get a good copy without distortion. So I’m redrawing it in CAD....

We’re these drawings ever uploaded?  I may have missed them.
