off RWY25 right crosswind to downwind. No details yet but this will be the 4th crash at the Auburn Airport in a year. Problem is there’s no good place to land within 3-4 miles from the runway with engine issues. Rolling, sloping hills and LOTS of large oak and pine trees. If you look KAUN airport you can see the only good spot is a small lake off the left side of RWY25, The first two crashes were at the runway, no fatals, the 3rd a couple weeks ago (two long time resident pilots) stall left crosswind RWY 07, both fatal, and yesterday one fatal and one injured. Details to follow.
