"FIELD OF DREAMS"!!

Bruce Crain

"FIELD OF DREAMS"!!!  We are still on for FOD here in Enid, Oklahoma!  September 18-20.  Everything seems to be in place for the Reunion Event.  Tee Shirts, Banquet, and a few "weird" prizes.  When you see the Tee Shirts with the 30 Year emblem on them please thank Kevin  Boddicker's wife Brenda!  She has done the artwork for us for 3 years now and does a wonderful job!

Who'da thought 30 years since the first Quickie/Dragonfly event!  We have some newbies inbound for the event and hopefully we can have a fun time with them and "show and tell" for them to keep them pumped up!

Kevin also has been put in charge of weather for the Event and it looks like he nailed it!  The WX for the event shows Highs of 80 degrees and lows of 56 degrees with only 10% chance of rain.  Way to go Kevin!  You must have a direct connection!  PTL!

This event stays on my mind all year long and I can't wait to see you all!  There are already a few coming in  early as is normal.  We love to have folks show up early as it gives us more time to talk and fly and mainly catch up!  So if you think you would like to show up early we will be looking up and down the road for you or up in the air also!

Also thank Rachel Faruque for the URL web site of which is   fieldofdreamsreunion.weebly.com   and her hubby Imraan for encouragement and friendship!  He almost has his TriQ 200 back in the air!

You guys and gals are the BEST!
Blessings and traveling mercies!

I was hoping to make it this year but I am still playing around with the Lightspeed ignition install.  Trying to decide where and how to mount the two coils today.   Pic below for the fun of it.

Let's just change Field of Dreams from Enid to McKinney, Texas this year.  You know....just to benefit me and no one else.  :)

Looks like you have plenty of great advice!  Not counting you out yet!  Miracles happen and especially when time and effort are used.  😉

Corbin you can always drive up to Enid and join us if you like.  You might pick up a few things to try on your Q from the group.

All,
Phil has graciously offered to fly me to FOD this year.

Hey Bruce.  You are 100% correct...I would learn a ton.  Who knows, maybe I will fly up in the Cherokee Six.
