Report
Kevin,
We aren’t doing anything that exciting but we did stay in a Holiday Inn last night and some of us are flying to Holister, Ca this morning for breakfast under beautiful severe clear. Please tune in for our Zoom meeting next Saturday @ 9:00 Pacific, should be
fun.

Probably 80°F in the cockpit, with the sun and cabin heat. Flew home in a long sleeve T shirt. Flew again yesterday! Twice in one week!
DEH to DVN for FREE coffee and donuts. However, the pastries were going by the time I got there. EAA Chapter 75 offers the hospitality the first Saturday each month. The covid has had the offering shut down for the past several months. Good crowd. I’m not sure, but I may have been the only fly in there. Some may have come and gone before my arrival. But when I got there, I was the King! Lots of interested lookers with all the usual questions. It took me by surprise, because Fisher and Crouch base on the field. Seemed as though they had never seen such a crazy looking flying machine. Fun! Had a nice visit with Terry, and then he was off to work on his Cozy. Paul felt sorry for me and took me to Micky D’s for lunch, and he bought! Can’t beat that. Flight both ways was spectacular! Little to no winds aloft, visibility unlimited, 40°F temps, excellent climb rate, plane ran good. 3500’ MSL to and 4500’ from. Made two landings to be proud of, had a great time, got current, had a ball! I know I sound like a broken record, but if you are still building, get to the shop and press forward boldly!!
