Looking For Q2 and 200 Projects, Midwest Prefered
Cameron Camp <cameron@...>
Not in the midwest, but getting ready to put my currently registered Tri-Q200 up for sale, can’t fit a dog in the back seat as best as I can calculate (or luggage) and put it on floats so working on a Glastar project. It’s missing an engine, but everything else is there, ready to paint, assemble and fly (minus prop). You might be able to talk Phil Langford into selling the engine back to you (or not). This has tons of upgrades like Velocity landing gear, sliding canopy, streamlined wheel pants, and my friend who restores classic cars did the body work with Jim Patillo’s cowl inlet patterns. Haven’t thought of a price. Has around 500 hours of flight time before it was dissasembled to clean up the fiberglass finish to a higher degree. Dog not included. It’s in Oregon. The plane. Well, the dog too.

I am in the far West and South of Kentucky on the Tennessee line. My home airfield is Kyle-Oakley Field KCEY. I have a fab shop here and I can't easily get away for a week or so at a time so I'm trying to stay to the Midwest if I can. If that option is exhausted, I'll be hitting you guys up that are out on the periphery. Nice Elliot quote btw |

Thanks, Sir. That's a little bit farther than I was hoping to travel, but keep me posted on what transpires with our Northern neighbor across the border.

I have a nearly complete kit, the wings are built but need the control surfaces added. 3500.00 for the lot. I have a deposit on it from a guy in Canada but he is having issues getting here to collect it so I’ll offer his deposit back if someone else is interested. Thanks Shaun. I haven't ruled out using one of my Subaru engines, that's how I found J Finley. I'm an old Subie enthusiast and with no free engines in the hangar, it's something I'm very much considering. I'm looking through all of the old threads on how they've been pulled off. I've only had them in automotive applications thus far, but am discussing tuning with several great shops.

I’ve got a firewall forward package from my previously flying Q200 for sale. If you find a Q2 that needs and engine upgrade or a Q200 with no firewall forward, give me a call 907-388-0452.
Shaun

I'm glad I finally found this place and am still combing through all of the old threads. |
