To start, remember this is for a fuel injected engine, fuel flows from header to main tank to high pressure pumps. Tanks fill visa header tank filler cap. There's more to that like filters and valve but that's the basics. In other words, this isn't gravity fed and there is no low pressure feed pump like most of you.

So here is my question ... Where do I run my header to main tank 1 1/2 fill pipe?





V1 - from bottom of header tank to right side to avoid elevator controls, least intrusion to panel space, best drainage

V2 - from front of header tank, easier for maintenance on elevator controls

Thanks for your feedback on new header to main filler pipe location, hint hint not on fuel system design because that design is frozen 😉
