Panel Day

Today, I took all the parts that arrived this week and mounted then in my panel and here is a first view ...

Gotta say it all feels VERY ERGONOMICAL, very happy, especially proud of the shiny trim wheel.

And today I finally after pondering this for weeks, the rudder pedal phenolic mounts have been floxed in ... 2 layers of BID before going home tonight and then time to call it a good day!

Love building planes almost as much as flying. Latest completed build is "Loki", a Chinook Plus 2 bush plane.

I flew mine for 2.4 hours today (now a total of 1781 hours).  Landed in Decorah Iowa (KDEH) with a 90 degree crosswind at 9 gusting to 19.  It was blowing harder when I got home but it was right down the runway.

I had a good time bothering Kevin Boddicker while he was doing his condition inspection.  Overall, way more fun flying than building!!

Robert,

Looking very good, tidy!

Particularly like lightweight, low-cost carpet from Home Depot Aero.
