My belly board install using linear actuator plus installing taxi lite in board. Not flown yet so cannot report the performance.  The Q2 is with tail wheel.

After 1000hrs, I don't see a need to have the belly board to be other than fully closed or fully open. Interim positions not necessary. Jm

I agree with Jerry. The belly board is either open or closed. The travel needs to be quick in case of a go around or being late in putting it down.
