Looks as though I need a replacement knob for my friction lock.  I am not sure of size but where I should I look to get the little knob?

Looks like the shaft broke off.  There is not enough sticking out to put a knob on.  You'll have to find a new shaft.  Take it apart and see what it looks like.  The trim lock is a nice thing to have on a LS1 canard.  Not sure about your GU canard...

Oh yea, you have to have a model before you can print. Or maybe you can download one from a knob vendor.

I made mine with epoxy. I used the plastic lid from a spray can of something or other.and put the proper nut in there and poured the epoxy in. Thread the nut and coat the threads with Vaseline. Yessaah.

I think it just looks like that in the poor quality photo that I took.  It went back  on just fine and that is the same length sticking out that it has always been.

I have a box of knobs. What diameter is the post?  Is it similar to a radio knob ( types I have) or is it something larger that you need for torquing?  Would a handle like a window sill
crank be more appropriate?
